Brother Judge Michael Morgan Running for Election to the North Carolina Supreme Court

Greetings Brothers,

Judge Michael Morgan The climate of our country begs our attention to the upcoming elections around the country. Candidates are on the ballots for every office in the land and we must study the candidates with great deliberation at every level of government locally and nationally. I'm very excited to announce that one of the most accomplished men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Brother Judge Michael Morgan is running for election to the North Carolina Supreme Court. He has a stellar record of service on the bench and is one of the country's premiere legal minds. He is well qualified to represent the great citizens of North Carolina.

The accolades of Brother Judge Morgan are quite extensive and he has maintained a tireless agenda of public service to the community and our Fraternity. He was the Basileus of the Iota Iota Chapter in the 6th District and served as the Grand Marshal of the 76th Grand Conclave that was held in 2010 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has served the last eleven years on the bench as a Superior Court Judge, ten previous years as a District Court Judge and five years as a State Administrative Law Judge. His legal prowess is mirrored by his relentless commitment to impartiality for all citizens of North Carolina.

June 7th is the primary election and there are four candidates on the slate. Brother Judge Morgan is the only African American in the race and only the top two vote-getters will move forward to the general election in November. There are no African American males among the top 22 judges in North Carolina where 21% of the citizens are African American. No member of Omega has ever served on the North Carolina Supreme Court and with your great support we have the opportunity to help move history forward. With 24 years of current teaching experience at the National Judicial College combined with more than 26 years on the bench, no one on the ticket is more qualified.

His campaign needs a record outpouring of votes and our collective gifts of support. Donations can be made via his campaign website at Please take notice of the legal requirements for making donations and make checks payable to "The Judge Mike Morgan Committee," P.O. Box 1055, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27602. I encourage you to support the candidacy of Brother Judge Morgan. Let's help him win the June 7th primary to make the ballot forward to the November general election and resounding victory by exercising the power of record voter participation. Let's help him make history in North Carolina.
